The story

I built this
for myself.

I'm Rueben, a developer from Northern Ireland. I got fed up with every recipe and grocery app being either bloated, expensive, or stuffed with ads. I just wanted something simple that helped me plan meals and get round the shop without the faff. So I built Forage.

Then I realised I had no record of when my boiler was last serviced or when the car MOT was due. So I built Kept. Same thinking, different problem.

McBurrows Nua is the name I gave the studio. Nua means "new" in Irish. It's just me, my Mac, and a commitment to building things properly. No shortcuts, no dark patterns, no pressure to monetise everything.

No ads. No subscriptions. Just good software, completely free.
